Benton has been a known committ for three years now!!! And all year the Randle family has know that he was going to sign this year.

goes from ESPN saying that Alabama is out of it because Saban reported the capitol visit.
Then TheChamp says he's going to Alabama....
now, He won't go to LSU if Benton, (who allegedly is Randle's good friend) signs with LSU.

Yeah I have a bad feeling RR is using this as an excuse. Kind of like saying,"Don't get mad at me for not choosing LSU because I would have picked them, but they're just too deep." This would be a major letdown if he went anywhere other than LSU.

He should of just come out and said this a while back. I guess we now know the reason he wouldn't commit. From now on, the tards need to take the clue. If a recruit from LA won't say where he is going from the beginning, one thing is for certain. It won't be LSU.

Why would our recruiters tell two guys that are friends or at least interact daily, and then expect that they won't talk to each other. I smell bullshite.

I agree. The Randle family has handled this whole process with a lot of class, I beleive. As far as I know, RR has never even indicated which of the three final teams he was leaning towards. I am under the impression that he has had a hard time making up his mind, but to base his decision on what Benton does seems unreasonable.
