So if Benton signs with LSU then RR won't sign there because of depth chart issues? So does this mean Benton is better than Julio Jones or anyone on OU's roster?
RR supposedly liked the idea of playing alongside Julio Jones and was looking forward to learning from a guy like Lafell. But now Benton is a concern? How badass must Benton be?

I find it hard to believe that Miles would tell any recruit that they are automatically behind someone else. This defies common sense completely. Also why would Randalls father all of a sudden make a comment like this. They have been quiet for months giving no hint one way or another. Now the father steals his sons spot light like this. Could be true but I think there has got to be more to the story. This guy may be plugging this rumor to get more to watch his report tonight in which the details of the report are completely opposite of the rumor.

My guess is that their listening audience will be the highest of the year--especially if you count internet streaming. It's already crashing.

Couple that with the fact that the Randle's have handled his recruitment in a top notch way, Im choosing to not really buy this stuff. If it is true, then as someone mentioned, we get a badass WR either way.

The source is reliable, I was shocked to hear it and it does make one question whether he has competitive spirit to go with his skill. He was at Bastrop while Benton was there and he knows what kind of skill Benton has, but its kinda weak to have in your mind that you can't beat out anybody on the depth chart.
BTW it was also reported Benton will qualify this year.
