They really don't need anymore interior guys for this yr. Safety and linebacker are much more important.
It’s not like it’s one or the other. They have enough spots to take more DTs, LBs, and safeties

Hornsports are sad, so must be good for us.
Also, it says a whole lot that he played for BK for 2 years and wanted to come back to him 1 more time.

Have we ever had a player named Ovie?

OP forgot to add the rest of the post:
News from Shea/On3 is not a surprise but certainly welcome. Played for CBK at Notre Dame as previously noted about 100 times.
Ovie Oghoufo EDGE 6-3 239 Texas/Notre Dame
SENIOR (2022)
"Played in 13 games with 12 starts … totaled 54 tackles (20 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, four quarterback hurries and three pass breakups" This dude/Swinson/Savion works. And add in some Womack.
This is a no worse than average SEC position.
Me likey. The strength at DT should allow a good number of TFL's by this group.

Do we have contact with the linebacker from Virginia? Nick Jackson.

LSU offers the Grad program he would take with his Marketing Degree. Add the NFL football part of his equation and you have to believe he can see a unique opportunity on the bayou while learning from the DC who coaches his position at LSU and coached it in the NFL also.

Totally agree, just hadn't seen his name on here hardly at all.

No, but he's been highlighted on the list of potential LB pickups on the Portal sticky since Day 1.
There's been a couple or 3 posts about him. You can't ignore the productivity.

Thanks for the pronunciation guide!
At least we'll know how to properly say his name!

So we replace Ojulari with Oghoufo.
That Jack spot is a Nigerian position!
Heck, both end positions the past 2 years as Ali Gaye is from Gambia
We need more Nigerians as they are some strong MoFo's!!
I am friends with Abinna, who is from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, who played college BB for the Maryland Terps then in the pros for the Washington Wizards, and now owns a successful company. His dad was my agent for oil n gas business in Nigeria. Went to Abinna's wedding in Victoria Island in Lagos. He is 6-11 and the wife appeared to be at least 6'3--- Future LSU players as I will push for LSU?

Not so!

I worked in Nigeria for a few months, and a coworker, who was a 160 pound Texan, used to put $20 on a table and give it to whomever could beat him in arm wrestling. He never lost, and wrestled some guys you would think were college athletes, by looking at them.

He looks better than the South Carolina DE. Plays lower with more lateral quickness and definitely has a quicker first step coming off the ball...

Depth is what killed us in the interior last year. Look at the A&M guys were all gassed by the end of the year.
