Guess he didn't want to play in the B1G PAC 10/12

At Oregon, Bowens was unable to see much of the field in his one season with the Ducks, recording just 20 tackles in one game played as a freshman.

Edit. The player card weight vs the current weight is way off.

I mean what stats are we expecting out of a true freshman. At least he was able to see the field

this is a typo right?
he had 20 tackles in 1 game as a DL?

I'm assuming Bo recruited him at Texas and knows if he's worth a look. His profile shows Texas offered out of high school, as did we.

You also would take guys that can be rotational pieces and develop long term. Think of it as filling the void left by the 2023 class, which had 0 DT's.

I like this:
4 years of eligibility, so he can hopefully be a Tiger and be developed.

Unless there's some red flag, I don't see why we don't pursue him. 4 star with 4 years of eligibility. Lets see what Bo can do with him.

Texas Insiders are saying he's being held against his will at the downtown Austin 4 Seasons and won't be released until committing.

Yeah, 2 tackles in his first game vs Portland State and that was it
Per CFBstats

He is young and has some talent.

Got to be his head weighs 120

If you expect greatness, I have good news. 20 tackles in one game played is either a misprint or he's the greatest to ever do it.

Go after him. It's like getting a 3rd freshman DT in the 2024 class, and this one has already gone through a year of development.
