One thing about Coach Skains.

His guys are going to be in top physical condition, and he is going to play his best both ways.

It's a task to play QB, especially when you run as much as Diesel, and turn around and play DB. I don't know how Diesel breaks so many tackles. Coach says he's determined that you're not going to stop him.

Thanks. I apologize for getting off topic.

I'm bad about doing that.

Definitely. And thanks for all the work you do bringing recognition via press and social media to some of these athletes who have flown under the radar like Diesel. Hope he garners an offer from a local school. I think he would shine as a return man.

I've been impressed with Malveaux's track speed.

Having a QB with sprinter speed to accompany Ford is almost unfair.

He can turn on the afterburners for sure.

I believe Opelousas scheduled this game as their homecoming. We will see what happens but their defense better eat their wheaties.

There is a surplus of outstanding 2025 in-state RBs.

Nothing against Ford as a RB. He definitely has the body and skills to be a workhorse at the position. But I'd like to see him at LB ala Devin White due to the class being loaded with running backs.

I'm picturing Ford as a perfect throwback to Nebraska fullback in the 1990s

He is built like a five-star MLB.

Does he like playing defense? What is LSU telling him, if anything?

Berry's gonna line up at WR a lot more than some of y'all think.

It wipulx be a nice to know you have Ford on third and two, fourth and one or fourth and goal. I have never seen him get knocked backward. He always falls forward for more yardage.

Agree Clean. Hope he chooses the good guys and stays home because his recruitment may blow up his senior season.

I think Ford is a RB. I like the way he wins. He is a bulldozer but he also has great contact-balance for a big guy.

Modern linebacking is such a different animal these days. Gone are the days where you can laterally place RBs across to the defensive side of the ball as LB.

I think Ford is better dictating contact on offense then he would be playing defense. He is a bit tight in the lower half. Turning, chasing, and running and playing in space would expose him. But on offense he can do the exposing.

That's what we're trying to figure out.

Many months ago, he got an offer.

Is LSU recruiting him? Is so, what's the gist of their approach. Is it a situation where they "keep a guy's seat warm" just in case?

I got the impression that Ford wants to play RB in college, but kids can quickly change their mind.
