Come on, man...this wasn't something that happened a century ago that we're trying to figure out over a history book. This JUST happened last year. OSU was the easy and logical pick after winning their conference, taking out OU, and after beating more nationally ranked teams than the latter.

Ha - now that is the best response I think I have ever read on this site!!! Well done!!!

None of those things are factors. There is only one factor, and it is: what teams finish in the BCS top two. And since they dumbed down the computers, this is what it amounts too: who do the voters think are the best two? Clearly, and I mean VERY clearly, Bama was one of the top two in the nation.

Really the only argument against choosing them over Okla State was that perhaps rematches should be avoided.

Or the fact that of the two teams (OSU and Alabama), only one of them won their conference.

But, we learned in 2003 that winning a conference isn't necessary to play for the MNC (Oklahoma), then we learned in 2011 that winning a division within a conference isn't even necessary.

I absolutely love this years class. We got some extremely talented guys coming in who could play right away, and its a great setup to what could be an epic 2014 class.

CLEARLY resumes do matter. Clearly Notre Dame was not the second best team in the country! They got in because their RESUME was better than all the teams that were stronger than they. So CLEARLY the all knowing voters have bias that is served from year to year.
