Seems like kiffin likes the transfer portal more than high school recruiting.
Those are high school recruiting rankings, they do not take into account the transfer portal.

And Saban suggested that Kiffin may have a lot more success in HS recruiting @ LSU vs Ole Miss; so the trend could continue in the future

Ratings are misleading. Getting multiple highly rated WRs & CBs will push you very high in the recruiting rankings, but not having balanced recruiting across all positions will eventually doom your team.

I noticed that about Les Miles. He loaded up on speed players, got high rankings, then watched many of them not play or transfer.

I understand using the portal to start but you can't ignore the Louisiana talent. I hope Lane doesn't learn the hard way like Kelly did. He had to do thqt because he was at Ole Miss. This is LSU. I hope he's ready to develop relationships with these coaches here.
