Best back in the country

That RB at Notre Dame would like a word with you.

ESPN stats are a joke. Western Kentucky’s only score was a scoop and score off a Berry fumble

Fair enough, I forgot that one, I just looked at the stats.

Either way, you seem to have over the top criticism of Berry. I thought he was impressive, despite the o-line and offensive concept not giving him anywhere to go most of the time.

Not sure what you think I said is unfair. Kewan Lacy is a bellcow, is proven, and knows the offense. Berry showed some flashes but does not look ready to carry the ball 260 times.

There’s no axe to grind, I think most leveled headed people would take Kewan Lacy in a heartbeat. Berry playing off of him is what is best for LSU. And if he wants to transfer because of it, Durham or someone else will eat in that role

I agree with most of your points in this thread but I think the only caveat is that people want to see Berry in Kiffin’s offense before casting him out

Lacy would love to run against that schedule

I think it's best put that Lacy is the better back right now and fits Lane's offense perfectly but Berry has the potential with his elite speed and pass catching ability to be a better play at some point. May never happen but Berry has all the tools to be an elite back. Lacy and Berry combo next year would be deadly.

I'd put Lacy 3rd behind Love and Hardy.

No one wants to cast him out. Not sure if where that comes from

Not sure why it has to be either or. Why not both. There have been NFL scouts in the past saying they like LSU backs because they are well coached and have little tread wear.

Berry and Lacy would both be wise to share the load.

People in here saying no to Lacy are absolutely dumb. You don’t turn down proven guarenteed production for potential. We just lost 2 running backs to the portal. We HAVE to take a couple running backs in the portal, why wouldn’t you take one of the best in the country? You can have multiple running backs with great production. Also running back is a high injury risk position.

I know Hardy is #1 on PFF, who is #2? Washington?

When Lane did his interview with McAfee,Lacy was in the office with him. Have to think there’s been some conversation there on his way out.

You can always tell who's never been to Oxford, especially when they are trying to favorably compare Baton Rouge to it.
