Ohio State is a mindboggler. They have one of the most talented rosters year in and year out, but consistently underperform. Every year they start around the top 5, but crash and burn throughout the year. They play in a conference that IMO, is pretty weak outside of Michigan and the occasional Penn State. In 10 years, Big10 has put 10 teams in the CFPs and won it all 2x (2014, 2024). I understand Ohio State puts players in the NFL, but most of those guys were making it to the NFL regardless of where they played.

Just the DB class that they’re putting together. LSU plans to be right there and the end for 2-3 in DB class.

They win the majority of their games. Have a huge stadium that sells out. They pay well and have a good defensive coaching staff. They get players to the league.
And know you can't say that those players were going to the league anyway. You still have to develop them.
The one thing that stands out to me is how early they are getting all these kids. Ohio state is a place that is known for recruiting.

Y’all are setting yourselves up for disappointment. Raymond is notorious for coming in 2nd for OOS prospects. Downvote away but let’s revisit on Signing Day.

I'm still not sold on raymond until I see some big gets. Pretty sure Kelly felt the same way which is why his contract is structured the way it is.
Plenty of time for him to prove us wrong, but I'm not getting my hopes up on Raymond until we SIGN some big time DBs, which obviously won't happen until December. Not that how I feel about him changes anything but like I said Kelly seems a bit wary of hiring him too based on his contract.

I have a feeling out of all OSU db commits he will not stick with them.
I expect LSU, Texas,and Aggies to put on full court press in fall for him.
