Bro you don’t think that these SEC coaches are aware that other SEC coaches are playing dirty? They all know how the game works; his having LSU family doesn’t change anything. If they were gonna turn saban in for something don’t you think they’d have done it by now? I guarantee they know which players are getting hooked up and how much regardless of whether they have that player’s family on staff. Hell, having family on staff might even *protect* the kid—were not gonna turn in one of our coaches’ own family

Mutually assured destruction. Of course LSU's coaches know there is "shady" recruiting at schools like Alabama. But they CAN'T say anything...because LSU is just as "shady". So is Georgia, Florida, A&M, etc.

Every coach is looking for an angle to sell their school AND negative recruit a rival school. LSU's defensive performance thus far has created that chink in the armor. Rival coaches are going to say last year was just a flash in the pan. O and his crew now have to mitigate that narrative.

Tim Watts just CB'd Sage Ryan to Alabama with a 7 confidence level.

He could start here day one. He will be a backup at Bama until his sophomore or junior year looking at the depth chart

It’s not in his best interest to screw over his family and state. We put just as many superstar safeties in the league as they do

He also told our coaching staff he was coming

That’s the thing. Who and what information is feeding those guys to have that confidence? Compared to the LSU boards saying that Sage is listening? Who’s lying? Sage’s camp? LSU writers?

Where’s the breakdown in communication? (Other than the LSU coaches with Sage for the last few weeks)

Well if the past is any indication it’s the recruit telling us he’s coming then back stabbing us under Darth Saban orders

Bama insiders are rarely wrong about this stuff. If they feel confident and there is a lot of smoke from their side, the kid is going to bama.

Yes, I know, Arik Gilbert.

It geeks me out when sunshine pumpers mention Gilbert's name as if it is irrefutable proof that we can never actually lose on a recruit.

"Literally every indication is that X player is going to Y school"

"YEAH BUT ARIK GILBERT!!!!!11!!"

Don't forget Roy....He was a Bama lock from their insider.

Even after he committed their insider said Saban will flip him.

My guess is that he committed to Bama, LSU is indeed trying its best to sway him back, he is telling LSU guys what they want to hear (“I’m still undecided”) to calm them down and give them hope, but tomorrow he will publicly commit to Bama.

Hope I’m wrong

If O offered Trev Faulk a position, what’s to stop Saban from matching that offer. Not to mention I’m sure he’s 2 steps ahead anyway and already offered that previously which is likely why he chose Bama to begin with and LSU is merely playing catch-up.

He committed to Bama and is now attempting to appease the LSU coaching staff.

Of course LSU is trying to send out messages to insiders that they are “confident” now.

It’s a load of BS.. I understand being hopeful but, I can’t believe people are actually convinced he’s signing w LSU

You're correct. We've seen this play out 1000 times before. He's picking Bama tomorrow.

The only thing that makes me not melt as hard as some are melting about this one is just that -we’ve seen this 1000 times before.

And we survived all of those, just as we will survive this one. It’ll hurt in the moment, but 1-2 years from now we won’t even remember the sting as we’ll Find a way to fill that hole elsewhere.
