Bro you don’t think that these SEC coaches are aware that other SEC coaches are playing dirty? They all know how the game works; his having LSU family doesn’t change anything. If they were gonna turn saban in for something don’t you think they’d have done it by now? I guarantee they know which players are getting hooked up and how much regardless of whether they have that player’s family on staff. Hell, having family on staff might even *protect* the kid—were not gonna turn in one of our coaches’ own family

The problem is that if we lose a 5 star we get guys like Matt Langlois or Bech. BAMA gets 5 stars to replace them. All 6 names you mentioned were replaced by top 50 guys in last class or this class except for Arik and let's be honest, there aren't any other guys to replace him with.

I'm not saying that stars aren't important, but Langlois and Bech could both easily turn out to be studs. 3 star doesn't always equal average player just like 5 star doesn't always translate into a superstar.
By all accounts Langlois and Bech are both very good players.
That said, I would like Sage AND Langlois. Is that an option??

Both of these kids are very underrated have First Team SEC potential.

They really are talented kids. They are both underrated due to not being able to make camps this year.
Jimmy Smith mentioned in a radio interview that Bech has All-SEC potential and that Langlois checks all the boxes you want in a safety and might have been a Top 100 guy had this been a normal camp year.
These are not "wasted" scholarships IMO.

They have as many 5 stars as three stars..... good point.
I'm not saying Langlois or Bech are wasted scholarships. I think both will be players. Just saying they aren't heavily recruited guys that the UGA's, Clemson's, Ohio State's etc. are going after.
If BAMA misses Sage this year, they'll replace him with a 5 star next year. Just about a guarantee. They are a recruiting machine.

It's not the family that's burnt by the recruiting violation. It's the coach and university that causes the illegal act.
