That certainly can't be good news for LSU. /sarc

I agree, but the only unknown is will Jennings even be throwing it that much next year. I don't think they will pass nearly as much next year.

You do know that's football 101? You're really not really breaking any news with that. I'm pretty sure that's understood.

But I understand your agenda here.

But anyone with half a brain understands that with the massive amount of talent you're losing on that side of the ball, production will drop and schemes will change until pace and understanding of what their jobs are on the field.

Young WR, young QB. High profile RB's. You honestly think they will be throwing the ball more next year?

Zach Mettenberger, Jeremy Hill, Jarvis Laundry, O'dell Beckham, and Alfred Blue will all be playing on Sundays, correct?

Looks like it. I'm expecting La'el Collins to leave too...

QB: Jennings
HB: Magee/Fournette?
FB: Neighbors (every bit as good as Copeland; 6th yr Sr)
WR: Dural, Leslie, Peterson, Diarse, Dupre?, Noil?, Quinn?, Williams?
OL: Hawkins, Pocic, Turner, Porter, Boutte?, Alexander?, Edinburgh?
TE: Gordon, Smith, Stokes

I may be forgetting some people, but there's no reason we shouldn't compete as long a Jennings is at least serviceable. All of those guys were very good in HS.

We'll have Terrance Magee, LF, Siona Powell, and maybe Darren Williams coming in for RB. AJ, while unproved, has spent a year under Cameron's offense and will only get better as the year goes on. We have possibly 3 5* WR and the national record setter.

We will see a drop off in offense productivity, but I don't think it'll deter Quille from signing.

I think the offense will take a small step back mainly due to losing such huge WR targets; however, 2nd year in Cam's system could mean more progress. Other than that, Magee and Fournette are going to wreck shop. O line is pretty deep on the team and we have some potential at TE.

The defense will take a huge step forward. The team is extremely young but extremely talented. The RB has been waiting for Rashard Robinson to make his statement game and he made it against Mike Evans. The kid is going to be one of the best cover corners this team has had in a long time.

agreed. and I fully expect him to be since Cam will have another year to invest in him as the guy pegged to start.

The guy that is toughest to replace on offense this year, imo, is Jarvis Landry. Just a freaking machine at WR, especially on 3rd downs. He brings it all. Well, he is not a freakish burner, but he is an excellent blocker, fearless, great hands, great routes.

Jarvis Landry should garner offensive MVP honors, imo. Mett, Hill, OBJ3 all in that discussion, but Landry is the man.

Quille could slide into that role in a huge way.

If they'd just get rid of Stud.

Interesting, we have heard similar things about Greg Robinson from our side.

Both would be drafted very high.

Yea, LSU will compete. There's no doubt. They bring in too much talent every year not to. I would expect them to having growing pains on offense next year, and much improved play on defense. The two roles will, sort of, flip flop, IMO.

Give me a rundown on Anthony Jennings. What type of quarterback, dual threat?

Agree! For the first time in a long time I am confident on nearly any 3rd down situation. It's really been a pretty fun ride.

...and in '15 will balance out, which will mean a National Championship caliber team, IMO.

As far as Jennings, I'm not sure anyone can tell you how he's doing because no one here see how he's progressed in practices. As far as we know, he's pass first, run second guy.

By run second, he's able to escape the pocket better than Mett can, that's about it.

But since he's black, there are people here that will think he's the second coming of Jordan Jefferson and that's how they want to use him.

How do you know this?

I don't KNOW this. No one KNOWS this, but basing what I've read between a few sites, that's really the only conclusion you should come end up.

In recruiting, everyone knows the saying "Where there's smoke, there's fire." There's alot of smoke from the BAMA side and not alot from the LSU side. It's playing out almost identical to Robinson.

But again, let him go. If he goes, he goes. I'm not going to have a fricking heart attack like the majority of people here. LSU can recruit with the best of them.

We'll see what happens with Jackson next.

Not at all. Just not impressed with Marshall. Don't think that he is much farther ahead of AJ. BH has much potential. Think he will press for time. Take it how you want. IMO.

As far as I know, which admittedly isn't all that much, Jennings is a pocket passer that has mobility (think Aaron Rogers type player; not saying he's that good, but the style). He's very confident, with a cannon for an arm, and most reports say his accuracy is about as good as it gets.

From what I've heard he's also got the intangibles to be great: poise, leadership, awareness, etc. He's definitely an exciting prospect.

I'd put him under pocket passer with good elusiveness and the ability to run. Not sure he's a TRUE dual threat or not. Oh yeah, he's got a very strong arm, too. Not sure on how accurate he is.

Cam says he can make all the throws then I am pumped to see what he can do.

Your kind is not welcomed here

So if Auburn has 1 good passing game he will commit? Sound like a Gump much?

I see how you made Elleshoe's signature. TTsTowel is being very reasonable. There is no reason to get your panties in a knot because his team logo is different.
