Reading comprehension, try it sometime. I said the spot of the recruit that does not pan out. Not someone who becomes a starter. And your scenario does not account for the possibility that Bolden ends up contributing to LSU's success.

well the yr porter came he was first player's schollie cut by the all knowing staff b/c of over signing, he transferred to ut and now (lucky for us is) back here. my reading comp is fine, ur just ignorant to recent lsu history. the staff has no way of knowing which players are going to pan out. your whole thought process is retarded

Adding a bad player is a bonus?

He's bad but it isn't like he's coming in here to compete for the starting job this season. Plus...

Maybe Krags can work wonders for him, he has a lot of athletic ability and a strong arm. Who knows...

Exactly my point. There isn't much of a negative to it.

so someone like elliot porter whose gonna be our starting center next year...this is miles move, and dont act as if he's never made obviously bad decisions b4

Alrighty there is 1 project that panned out. What about a Rocky Duplessis? Or a Liggins? Alonzo Lewis? Trevon Randle?

He doesn't hurt this year's numbers. Next year? Sure...but the staff has a full year to prepare for that.

ruins a national title season

Since 2008 Alabama has lost a total of 6 games.

Jordan Jefferson was the main QB for 2 of those.

I know its easy to think if only another QB played on 1/9, LSU would have won, but lets give Bama a little credit and move on. And no, its not a history.

BUT are you sure he'll be a junior because he was 2010 recruit + RS = RS sophomore

He didn't redshirt at Penn State. He started as a true freshman.

No. It kinda doesn't.

So? Is he some superstar we'd be screwed with out? Do you think we'd be without a C if he stayed at Kentucky?

The staff doesn't know which players will pan out but somehow you do

If he doesn't count against the 25 we can sign in 2013, I see no down side. Even if it does, its 1 player, that you have found one incidence where a guy who may turn out to be a good player was a guy that was almost a number's cut, doesn't mean that will be the case this time. He'd basically be taking Liggins spot

Is it possible he might play another position or is he strictly a qb?

Or the ton of offensive linemen, or the Mississippi LB, or the LA Safety who were kicked off the team. Or the DB's who just left who did not pan out. He cites 1, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and claims I am the retarded one. But he also believes he is more knowledgable of what is best for LSU than the coaches who are paid millions to make those decisions. Delusional???????

The staff will have to get to 85 next Summer. They were already planning on having to do that with 4 returning QBs and the new signees. Now one of the returners is named Bolden instead of Liggins.
