Arik Gilbert said he cancelled all of his other visits to recruit. Maybe he’ll be working on him.

This guy is the best down the field passer I have seen at the high school level in quite some time.

He absolutely impresses me.

We run an offense that allows for QBs to throw for 300+ yards per game.

We are stacked with 5 star talent at RB, WR, and TE for years to come.

I honestly don't understand why 5 star QBs aren't lining up to come here. Hopefully things change soon on this front.

I've been wondering if there is speculation out there as far as how long Brady will actually be here, especially with everyone assuming he'll be a head coach soon (not happening). I don't think he's a 1-and-done, but I bet the recruiting pitch against us is "sure they look good now, but you know Brady is out of there after this season, right?"

Went to his 247 page. Says he was recruited by Cam Cameron

It won't stop this question being asked every day and I don't blame people for being excited, but recruiting a QB takes years

This is true, but a ton of good QBs are also entering the transfer portal 1-2 years in. I think it's actually becoming more realistic to flip a highly recruited QB now if you pick the right situations. It's also easier to snag one from the transfer portal to fill needs.

I wouldn't be surprised if we threw ourselves in the transfer portal QB's if there are any again.

It's time to truly flip the script. Go after Bryce Young whether he fits our system or not, just to give them a taste of their own medicine. What y'all call that? A two for one?

how about the potential Max Johnson to brother Jake Johnson combo here at LSU in the near future...? They look REALLY good on film together this fall at Oconee.

I think Max Johnson will be able to do pretty well in this offense.

I think more qbs will be interested once they see another qb succeed around the same level as Joe. Otherwise this year may be seen as an outlier. Thats not how I feel though. I would look at Joe this year as compared to Joe last year. That would be enough for me and i would jump on board

If we followed that logic we wouldn't have Burrow.

Brady will be here for several years, maybe more. O met with him when offered and laid out a plan for him to become OC after learning under E. NFL will not match his upcoming OC salary

Don't we have two pretty highly rated DT commits in Lee and Roy. Also there is a pretty good chance of Guillory. That would be one hell of a rotation.

So what’s to stop a deep pocket P5 program from offering him a coordinator position and a million and change after this season?

I think Brennan will do just fine next season for us. Why is everyone so down on him and think he is just garbage or something? It's totally bs. Also, Peter Parrish will be an animal in this offense as well from the take I've seen from hs. He can throw the ball well, gets it out fast and makes quick decisions, and he is a hell of a threat running the ball. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see LSU running a 2 an system with both Brennan and Parrish next season. We will be fine. We have been so used to our qb woes due to lack of coaching and development, along with poor evaluation by our staff at the qb position coming out if hs under miles and co, that we are projecting the same from O and our staff we have now...which is totally unsubstantiated and incorrect. This staff has turned burrow into a high draft pick and one of the top qb prospects in the nation in ONE OFFSEASON! I trust this staff and their ability to evaluate qb talent and develop them and build an offense surround their skillset that will get the best results. We can't compare our qb woes under miles to the qb position going forward under O and his staff, that's just dumb. As far as the and we have for the 2020 class, I would much rather max Johnson over the kid from Ponchatoula. I think Johnson will end up playing alot for us in his time here while the other looks like more of an long shot to ever see the field here. Either way, I out my faith in this staff and their decisions regarding who they see will be the best fit for our scheme and our team. Which is something that I used to have ZERO faith in during miles entire frickin tenure. Geaux Tigers.
