That's what happened.
He wanted to come to lsu.
Not going to lie, i don't love this take.
Feel like we could've gotten a better back if we waited.
Loved noah cain out of high school but he hasn't looked the same.

I don't know if he gained it after injury or what but hopefully he can lose some weight. He's listed at 5-10 237 some places, needs to drop some pounds and gain some quickness.

Watched his PSU highlights. He looks like josh Williams

What was his injury, please don’t say knee??

Cain is a solid back. Nice pick up.

I agree. Unless there are dudes leaving and we need him for depth I would rather we use the spot for CB or LB.

Well, we do have 14 more to fill.

He’s just not that good. Only portal signing I don’t like so far.

Not elite but he shores up the RB room with Emery, Kiner, Goodwin, and Bradford

Knee in 2020 and something else last year. Also appears to have had difficulty breaking through the mental barriers of the injuries.
Hopefully he can get past all of that

5 ypc and 8 TDs ain’t nothing to sneeze at as a freshman. I agree has hasn’t improved because of injuries but hopefully he can be healthy and really blow up for us or be a change of pace back.

He was pretty damn solid as a freshman. Injuries have derailed him since.
Depends which version we get I suppose

I read on the Penn State 247 board that it was an unspecified injury that happened on the first series of 2020. Injury kept him out the rest of the season. And then he didn’t look the same in 2021. So who knows.
He was solid in 2019.

Really hope he can get back on track. I know at one point in the recruiting cycle he was a top 10 rb then kind of fell down after a while and ended as a 4*. He's really talented, maybe a fresh start can help him out. Worst case scenario, he's a solid backup to Kiner/Goodwin

Emery
Kiner
Goodwin
Bradford
Cain
I like this backfield, a few more portal pieces & team gonna be looking good.

Does this slim our chances with Citizen?

Would’ve loved to get Gibbs, sucks that he’s going to the Gumps. This is a solid depth pickup though.
