What part of my statement reflects that? Upshaw was always a tweener. He was 6-1 270. Robert Nkemdiche is the closest thing to Jason Taylor that Nick Saban could have at Jack LB. That being said, he's a kid that's going to grow to about 6-6 290. He would easily step into the DE/DT combo role that Marcel Dareus played in. Did his draft stock drop?

My favorite part.

There's absolutely nothing Bama can offer that LSU can't.

Every statement you make here reflects that.
You troll the LSU Recruiting Board waiting for anything related to Bama so you can pounce with information that discredits anything in LSU's favor.

I understand you want everything good for Bama and there's a place to post those fantasies...this isn't it.

This is where LSU fan hang out..we get excited when things go LSU's way and right now it's going LSU's way.

Butthurt somewhere else.

I think you have me confused with someone else. I haven't even stated in this thread, or any thread about Nkemdiche, that he's emphatically going to sign with Alabama. I have also not pounced "with information that discredits" LSU. I was taking offense to the belief that Robert Nkemdiche would suffer a "draft stock fall" because of the position he may, or may not, play if he signed with Alabama.

I come to this board because it has solid information about prospects throughout the Southeast. Yet, some LSU fans can't accomodate anything that's not purple and gold.

Yeah, but he doesn't want to play DE in a 3-4
Thus the trepidation.

Playing DE in a 3-4 just isn't a lot of fun. The LBs get the glory, while the DEs do the dirty work.

Taylor was a 190 lb. safety when he was Nkemdiche's age. Nkemdiche is already 15 lbs. heavier than Taylor's NFL playing weight. Better comparison is Mario Williams briefly playing OLB for the Texans last year (where he was surprisingly effective, just not very happy).

This is exactly what is going to happen IMO.

lol I'm not trying to make myself feel better, but it sure seems like you need some self gratification when it comes to Nkemdiche's recruitment.

You post the same shite every time his name is mentioned.

Remided me of the scene in The Wild Bunch.
Ernest Borgnine made the comment about Ben Johnson and Warren Oates hitting whores in tandem.

man I sure hope we can pull this one off...

if and when it does happen, ESPN will find a way to spin it and shine a negative light somehow on us...

e.g. "sources say bama pulled the scholarship offer and that's why he chose the tigers"
