Spiegelman just put in new Crystal Ball for Justin Rogers to LSU.

The perception of LSU QBs is changing by the play call because of Matt Canada.

Are there any updates on his knee?

ACL was torn, I know they said he had surgery yesterday

He'll be redshirting next year wherever he goes to continue rehabbing his knee. Hopefully it's here because we really need a good QB in this class.

I've said it before, but I see rogers in this class when it's all said and done.

Not necessarily. Recovery from a torn ACL isn't nearly as long as it used to be.
Narcisse tore his ACL last fall and was able to participate in spring practice this year, and he's now our third string QB. He might end up redshirting, but he's certainly not going to be redshirted just to rehab his knee.

Still good news, no doubt, but my mind immediately jumped to Justin Fields the first time I read the OP. I guess that's because of the recent visit and associated thread.
Here's to hoping the young man has a speedy recovery, no matter where he lands.

Texas seems to be going to their true freshman at QB as well now. Cameron Rising might seriously start to heat up interest our way to.
IT's good to have this kind of interest from multiple top notch QBs

I'm not saying he won't be physically ready by then, but it would serve him well to redshirt and make sure he is 100% healthy to play. Plus, it wouldn't hurt him to get adjusted to a new playbook and to being a college student.

I'll take it as a positive sign but Speig thinks lsu is getting everyone

Getting him would be sweet!

I wonder if he feels a little envious since LSU is now on the radar of one of the top QBs in the country, Justin Fields.

In all seriousness, how does he compare to another Parkway* QB that now plays at UNC?
Edited.

Parkway
They're both 4*
They both seem pretty humble
Rogers is a little bit higher rated, but not much

I'd like to have JR and I wish him a speedy recovery, but it's kind of weird that we get these qb's following ACL tears.
