It just blows my mind that Will Wade hasn't coached a game yet, and he has two 5stars to show for it. To go along with a decent class this year.

Well, to be fair, you don't know anything about him either. He's got tons of youtube highlights fwiw. Looks like a big strong kid with ball skills. Can't have too many of those.

Why do we have to compare him to someone? Why can't he be his own, unique player with his own, unique skill set?

But if I had to answer your question, I'd go with Boogie Cousins. Dominant back to the basket presence, with surprising ballhandling skills and passing ability, and the ability to knock down jump shots consistently. Solid shot blocker as well. Not super athletic though.

Brandon Bass is the closest player I can think of. He plays with his back to the basket but also has a midrange game. Good size, although not elite, but also extremely strong and athletic. Physical around the rim.
