He has a brother a year older attending Texas, and both parents are pro Texas, although they’re letting him make the decision on his own. Don’t think he’s quite the Texas lock that he was long thought to have been, but they probably still should be considered the favorite

I agree with you. LSU blew them away this weekend, and are in a great position coming out of it, but I think when the dust settles and he gets back home, he'll settle back into UT. Would love to be surprised though, as I think he's going to be a good one.

3 decommiting or 3 being asked to leave? Because if it's being asked to leave, I really only see 1 name on our current commit list who makes sense.
I don't like telling Louisiana kids who commit to look elsewhere. I know it happens but I think it hurts our reputation big time in the state.

Definitely not. We should be grateful for the hints and heads up that Vol gives us when he can. Hardest thing to do is cue us in on just enough without burning his back channels, meanwhile, if a kid feeds bad info, Vol catches backlash for being mislead (called wrong), or he is asked to give extra info that would put a strain on his sources or him directly.
He does plenty, and we should all be very grateful. Besides, that info can only hurt the kids, recruiting class, his connection or Vol directly. We really dont benefit at all even from speculating, just let it play out....

Need to get Ricks to work on Myles Murao as it looks like Van Pran will be a near impossible pull at this point at the center position
