Miles sucked in developing QBs. He could have landed Jameis Winston, Jared Goff, Jake Browning, Deshaun Watson, and would have ruined all of these guys careers.

You're either with us or against us. I'd love for Myles to commit, but if he doesn't, oh well. And if this is because of the offer to the Bama committ, then I'm not sure you want that kind of guy anyway.

O doesnt have a system in place. Kiffin has proven he can win with a Pro Style and a dual threat QB.

LSU needs a QB that can make plays when the play breaks down. We suck at getting advantageous match ups (mostly a function of college football) by design maybe we can get lucky with advantageous matchups by chance when the play breaks down. Dual treat athletic type QB's give us a better chance.

Well Miles sucked at recruiting the right QB for the scheme he ran. He kept trying to bang a square peg "dual threat QB" into a pro-style system. We all saw he couldn't coach them up to fit the system. I personally feel if Harris was in a system to fit his skill set he would be successful. A pro-style "drop back passer" offense doesn't fit his skill set.

This is going to be another HUGE mistake LSU makes imo, Brennan is not only a baller, he is a smart and very driven kid. This kid is going to be a VERY good college QB. Instead of courting him we are going to keep a horse with two of his two legs that are gimpy. Back to back years of acl tears and repairs. Look he might be a great kid but F*CK this is a huge gamble when you have a kid like Brennan already committed.

If this blows up in LSU face like the Franks/Patterson debacle, I for one will be ripping the stupid coon-arse coach we have on this board that is for sure!

Jefferson, Lee, Jennings and Harris were all 4-star recruits.

Evaluation wasn't the problem. Development was.

Pro- Style QB will not beat Bama... You don't beat Bama, you don't to go to the Championship. Pretty Simple
the teams that build a spread team to beat bama lose to Pittsburgh too.

The pro style teams don't lose to vastly inferior opponents when they have a bad offensive day.

This isn't about bashing the kid. I wish he was coming. I also don't blame him for the decommit. This is a scenario where he's making a smart move based on comments from a new head coach of the program he was committed to. If I'm bashing its the approach and direction of the program.

He knows LSU is looking for a dual threat and most likely means Kiffin is coming.

If we are going power spread don't waste this kid's time, don't waste a scholarship, pick an offense and recruit to it unlike the guy that was here for the last decade.

At least he seems not on coach's priority list - He was not informed about the offer to Bama QB before hand and found it out online, and we sent three coaches to visit Narcisse yesterday.

No, he sucked at developing QBs or formulating an offense that played into his QB's strength.

I also said it was a good move on his part(Myles), he's a smart kid and may be playing his hand.

IF they move to a spread O, Lindsey is the better option IMO.

Just them same, it hurts losing a kid like Myles.

good job orgeron. wish he would learn to keep his mouth shut on some issues. especially when the comment isn't necessary and he cant even make up his damn mind

Ed Orgeron Made It Clear That He Plans To Recruit Pro-Style Quarterbacks

I do believe nowadays, you have to run the spread offense. You have to have dual-threat quarterbacks
