The offer to him was nothing more than a smokescreen to make this look less like a shite sandwich. To send some stupid message to Bama that we are coming after their players, whatever.

I dont understand this move at all. The kid is the best QB prospect LSU has seen in A LONG TIME. O doesnt have a system in place. Kiffin has proven he can win with a Pro Style and a dual threat QB. Why in the world would we throw this away trying to offer to a kid who is an early enrollee somewhere else.
I am so confused with this crap. Why LSU cant get a decent QB commit blows my mind.

Do you realize how many offers we have out to QBs? We offered fricking Tate Martell. Decommiting because we offered someone else is bullshite. He doesn't feel like he will fit the system or he doesn't want to compete.
