Not a critique of Perroni as nothing he said there is unreasonable (albeit a bit rosy for A&M), but some of their other mods are definitely penciling in any elite recruit who shows interest as a lock.
This is something A&M mods were kind of notorious for recently and was even more absurd almost a decade ago with Auburn after Cam Newton, when everyone from around the nation was allegedly lining up to go there.

Exactly what my BIL told me about a week ago that's the rumor. Perroni saying that makes it sound like it's not as much of a done deal as led to believe. Moss isn't a huge loss to me. Get Law and LSU is all good

So this "respect my decision" is a thing now I guess. In this case I absolutely respect this young man's decision. Not only do I respect it, I admire it. This young man has to do what's best for his future. I hope this courageous act will show other young men that it's okay to walk your own path.

Moss isn't a huge loss but a&m pulling a few Louisiana kids isn't good.
We don't want them coming into the state and taking a couple top kids every year.
To me, getting jacoby is as much about making a statement as it is about landing a good player.
You know exactly what the narrative will be if they land jacoby and moss.

Yeah good lord, not a lot is happening in recruiting now because all of these dudes are getting ready for their seasons and the whole fan base is melting.

I don’t know what perroni is hearing but I would be shocked if Moss and Mathews didn’t end up with LSU. The Mathews rumors are that he asked for a commit video to be made for him, that rumor is coming from one of the least reputable A&M sources around and I personally have put 0 stock in it, as should most people it’s definitely a case of I’ll believe it when I see it.
