Hah, yeah. In fairness to Robinson, it's easier to see in hindsight if that is in fact what's happening. Probably too late to flip him now... sigh

Cam is not exactly an honor graduate and it won't surprise me if he isn't eligible to enroll in January.

His coach at WM said this in an interview, reason why he (Shows) wanted cam to get the recruiting process over early.

Winnfield, Jonesboro-Hodge, Bossier City, Shreveport, Ruston, Monroe... it's all the same thing.

Put yourself in CRob's shoes - these kids are not stupid. You realize that Sims was just bait by Bama. Heck, maybe that was part of the deal to help your boy out. However, now that it appears it isn't going to happen, are you going to let Bama just play you like that? I mean, the LSU coaches have been straight with you and Hootie the whole time - they like Sims, but do not think he's a right fit, even if he gets qualified.

So, now, you can rethink it or double down. I bet he's at least rethinking it.

It's hard to put myself in his shoes because I don't know how much he values that relationship with Sims. Like I said earlier, they sold Robinson on the whole program at Alabama, not just getting Sims there so they could play together. He's not just going for Sims.

It's also easy for us to say we see this, from the outside, but it might not be the same for him on the inside, either. We might be missing crucial information, or we might be seeing the whole thing because we have a bird's-eye view that he doesn't. Just really hard to say.

I hope he rethinks it, if only because I think the whole thing with Sims stinks to high heaven.

They may not be stupid, but they aren't sophisticated either. It's very hard for an 18 year old kid to comprehend Machiavellian behavior. If Saban did in fact cynically play him and use Sims as a DISPOSABLE PAWN, it is unlikely that a kid would really "get" that until two/three years down the road, after he sees it a few more times. And of course by that time, there will be a thousand different ways for him to rationalize it.

If somebody close and trusted to him does not understand the ramifications of this, and explain it to him, he'll have to witness personally how disposable his buddy is, once he is no longer needed.

So if he doesn't qualify for an EE he still has until July to qualify for the 2014 class.

I'm not sure why people are assuming this could possibly immediately mean CRob to LSU...
