Shelvin should opt back as he may blow up to 400 lbs.

All Shelvin has to do right now is stay in shape and he’ll be pick on first or early second day. Most of this 375 talk is cause he opted out and people r upset. i would love to have him back.

Shelvin will not be a first day pick and will be lucky not to drop to the 5th/6th rounds.

That's a big IF... considering his history when he had coaches, including CEO himself, pushing him. But sort of agree, solid day 2 if he can stay in shape.

Dude he is not going to be a 5th or 6th rounder

He was man handling people in the sec
Probably won't be a 2nd but late 3rd isn't out the question

I hope not. I hope he is first round but he will not be looked at as Chase. Chase is a can’t miss talent as long as he keeps clean until the draft. Shelvin still has things to prove. His body type is more of a NT in the NFL and that position isn’t as highly sought after as years past. He has a issue with weight control and he too has to stay out of trouble (not saying there is any negative info on either guy but being young and bored sometimes equal trouble).

He also chose to stay at the house and not compete which can be viewed negatively to organizations given up day one or two money. The slide could very well happen. Hopefully he comes back to compete and improve on what he showed last year!

If this is true, it would be a bad look if he didn’t now. NFL doesn’t like flakiness

You need to learn how to follow our football program. This came from Coach O himself you idiot it has nothing to do with anyone being upset about him opting out.

People need to realize that Shelvin had 3-4 dominate games for LSU. Yea, they were in insanely important games, but if he shows up to the combine at 370 pounds and runs a 5.6, that dude will drop like a brick. He has little tape to show he is worthy of a 3rd round pick, and he's proven for years he's out of shape.

Now, if he comes to the combine at 330, throws up a ridiculous number for bench press, and he runs even below average for that size, then yes...however, he has a track record of being insanely out of shape and taking a long long time to get in shape. Who knows what will happen, but very doubtful NOT playing football will keep him in shape
