Don't really like shitting on a kid but there's no way he should be rated where he's at. Anyone who has seen him play will tell you the same thing. Manning and his resources vaulted his name way higher than it should've been. Bama pressed harder for Holstein than Manning should also tell you there.

Not trying to shite on him, I think he has potential I just don't see how you can rate him a top 10 recruit in the entire country. Seems a little crazy. 3*? No way on that either.

He a middle to upper half 4 star. I think that’s safe to say. He just doesn’t have the physical tools of these other boys.

Jeff Duncan, a known Manning family cock sucker, called his recruitment the biggest in history. Hilarious.

3 star is probably harsh, that Manning name does tell you a lot about what's between the ears and he has the arm to be good, but he's definitely not a 5 star or even a high 4 star. He should be dominating such lowly competition, and he's just not.

Actually got shut down 2 years in a row by LCA. I pretty sure he had less then 100 yards both years. Definitely last year for sure

Aside from Manning Passing Academy, has Arch ever competed against other top QBs in any camps (not including 7-on-7 drills)?

If he hasn't, then it lends further credibility to the "he's only rated where he is because of his name" argument.

I don’t need to catch on. You do.

Ferrell is basically saying Arch should be ranked the same as Eli was. Which I agree with.

To say that Arch is double the prospect that Eli was is ludicrous.

Y’all think this take is shenanigans or legit?

None of his highlights show me a five star so I’ve always assumed his name is why he’s ranked so high.

It's a legit take, especially the part about him being a Manning and getting that instant leg up on the competition.

ive said this from the beginning...he gets 2 stars just because his last name ..He isnt really that impressive to me...

Not going to lie...i bought into the hype at first but after watching his highlights and looking at his stats it isnt that impressive. He def doesnt deserve the highest rated 5 star ever...to dispute this look at Ewers stats vs Arch's stats in a church league

This is one of the reasons I dont latch on to the star ranking system. I get it, but it's not the end all.

Give me a 3 star with the tangibles and willingness to learn over an overhyped 5 star.

Not a Manning defender, but Eli didn't look all-world like Peyton in HS, but he turned out to be a NFL HOF QB. I wouldn't be shocked if Arch is really good as well.

I was at the Lafayette Christian debacle and Manning was absolutely terrible. He threw over, behind and late to his receivers all night. He threw for 51 yards on offense. Total. He had an interception. He was slow and confused all night.

He also wasn’t even All-District yet somehow he is supposedly the #1 player in the entire country. This makes no damn sense.

Grandfather Archie was ahead of his time in college. He was an outstanding college QB except his senior year when he was hurt.

I’ve been saying that. The kid looks good at camps and drills. But in game he doesn’t look that special compared to others. His team isn’t great so maybe that plays a part. But his name is what has elevated him to this status.
