And yet we immediately offered a LA kid that committed to Houston the same day he reported the offer. Think a lot less due to Sabb as to do with what one school was willing to pay vs another. We have a rather large WR board with a ton of interchangeable parts among it. Whitley got more to go to OM than he was slotted for here based on our board. Think wr 2 vs wr 3 or 4. Whitley isn't commanding wr 1 money anywhere.

This is my thoughts too. Royal is going to (rightfully) cost a fortune which gives ole miss an opportunity for a better offer.
We’re in it for a ton of great receivers, not worried about that playing out…would love to hear more OL and defensive players in play.

You really chest bumping over 1 guy who is barely ranked in the Top 1000 and never had an LSU offer?
And if they want to way overpay for Whitley to get a W for Frank we will happily take that money and throw it towards Royal who is the true prize in LA at WR
