6’9 wingspan. Really like his attitude and confidence. Not afraid of contact at all and plays much bigger than he is, both on the offensive and defensive end than his 6’3 frame. But especially when he is coming off of on ball screens, he turns the corner fast. Reminds me of Javonte Smart in a lot of ways, which is awesome to have in a lead ball handler in Wades system.

I had not heard his name mentioned or any smoke but take that for what’s it’s worth. I would assume the way in which they are going after big time Euroleague players they would kick the tires because he fits that 26U Euro that has either gone undrafted in the NBAor been drafted before and plays real minutes in the big leagues.
But Montero is a different case than say Santos, Niang, Babayou, Dessert or Madar. He just made All-Euroleague his team is in second place and he I think he is up for MVP discussions. As long as he grinded to get to this point, even for a huge 3-4 month pay day for one season of college basketball, that would be a huge career decision. Somebody would pick him up, but what if he is stuck with a non automatic qualifying team when he comes back, or I don’t know his contract situation but if he left there is no guarantee like there is now he would get a 3-4 year contract and make top Euro money. He would be risking 6 years of a brutal climb to start all over. There is name that came up on monday that LSU reached out to, and like Niang if an NBA team were to have his rights it might work perfectly, he could come over for winter, then jump over to the G-League right after would be a huge get.

Gonna need to start using nicknames or initials if the other rumored players are coming too. There's no way Im gonna be able to keep this straight.

He looks like a bit of a chucker and wouldn’t love him being the center of an offense, but at some point they’ll need to land a guy that can get a bucket when they need it

Yes, offer on table to make him top 5 highest paid in college bball. However he is undecided on if he wants to play cbb.

Really cut down on his turnovers last season vs. his FR year, but didn't generate many assists for a PG that doesn't shoot much.
Fears was so ball dominant last year that it's tough to judge how he will play when he has the ball in his hands more often, imo. I think it speaks to his talent that they started him early in the year despite the questionable fit alongside Fears.
