Former player from Dunham just quit the team. He was a 4 Star dlinemen last year and we ran out of room for him. I wonder if we give him a spot?

This is from their board:
More information from Horn's sources:
"We have been told that he just packed up all his stuff and is no longer on campus. According to one source the staff did not get did not get much of a warning. According to the source, one of the biggest factors in his decision is that he wanted to be closer to home and will look for a college in Louisiana to attend to continue his football career."
Don't forget he had a multitude of family issues while in high school.
Next man up.

He would have to sit out a year correct?

Yes so he would be a redshirt sophomore when he gets on the field.

LSU didn’t sign a full 25 in the recruiting class (they used the final 3 spots on grad transfers), right?

So did LSU “not have room”, or just passed?

I don’t blame him I would be fed up with being kissed from Tom Herman everyday.

Not if he got a waiver from the NCAA, but likely yes, would have to sit a year. Could use a redshirt however.

Friends with Stingley. Was a bull of a QB at Dunham. Tough kid, not sure what his natural spot is on the field.

DE written all over him. Could be a decent get if we need some depth

Doubt that we have room or doubt that we take a look?

So let me get this straight.

We want someone that just up and left his team without giving any kind of warning to his coaching staff? Red flag.

Do all transfers matter towards the 25 now? If so bad rule.
I get all the fairness and bs but if a kid can land in a roster without being recruited(using common sense is there such a thing,if so then how'd they get on the roster) as a blueshirt without counting current year then I'd think a transfer not playing year one should be able to.
