If he wants to play for Miami over LSU then go ahead. LSU is way closer to being a contender than Miami.

No idea what you are referring to ...
O almost has this program at the cusp of being elite again but he has to start finishing with these 50/50 guys

From the Bama board
quote:
Christian Williams -- CBd to Miami by Steve Wiltfong and to Cloudy by LSU mod Shea Dixon. Per Dixon, he's seriously considering Miami due to less competition for playing early. He'd be the 4th CB taken in LSUs class or the 2nd and top-rated CB in Miami's.

Aren’t we going to use him as a Safety? We will be losing some safety depth. If he picks Miami over LSU that’s a RIP.

I thought it was a dead period right now and coaches couldn’t talk with recruits?

That would be my preference for him. Maybe he wants more of a shot to play corner?
I won't be happy if he flips to Miami and Hampton doesn't make it to campus.

Regardless if he is the 4th DB or not did he watch the bowl game?

Shea sounded rather confident in Christian to LSU while on AFR yesterday.

Be one guy on an island or be part of an army. Easy decision.

I’d love to have him but everybody isn’t built for DBU. If he’s scared of competition then go ahead to Miami kid. It may workout better for you.

Miami's days are over and have been since they joined a conference. Most of Miami's success was back when they were an independent program. Since joining the old Big East Miami has not won on a grand scale.
I think Miami won the Big East maybe twice and since joining the ACC Miami has never won the conference title.
Miami used to load up on cream puffs and play 1 or 2 tough games per season such as FSU or ND. Then even if they lost a game were still in the NC hunt with just 1 loss and they would almost always be in a major bowl.
Now if they lose to FSU or Clemson it is a conference loss and can potetially keep them out of the ACC title game and lower them on the pecking order so to speak.
This same scenario has happened to other schools such as Ohio State and has impacted their post season as well. Only if you are named Alabama do you get a "do over" so easily.
The point is Miami has not handled being in a conference well and I don't see that changing with Manny Diaz at the top.
If a kid wants to go down there and waste himself then good luck but I hope he researches the situation and not just have visions of sand in his pants.

What time was that? He switched his pick to cloudy around 8:30 last night.
