Apparently it’s all just an issue of us not spending enough NIL, which nobody in the administration realized until February of this year.
I don’t know why anyone would doubt this. Sounds totally reasonable to me. I have the utmost confidence that McMahon will win 10-13 sec games next year now that we are spending on par with the likes of Mcneese.

Pack was a big part of that miami final four team. He would be a substantial upgrade at the pg position.

He was and part of the reason they've fallen apart since. Also he was injured this year the same way Chest and Vyc were at the end of our season.

Not a statement to you TSham but didn’t feel like going to front of the line:
What makes anyone with sense think, that a player with Elite talent or even talent would choose LSU over any school on the list of these so-so portal
players
1) to play in the SEC no, if they had SEC talent they would be in the SEC now
2) if their talent is now good enough now to play in the SEC and you had to choose between the #1, #2, 456789- why ITF would you choose #16
This is a NO Win(pun intended) situation. The Admin has ruined LSUs MBB program. We are the Vandy Football of SEC b-ball, the best hope is we upset a team or two and make some cheezdik bowl. McCantWin is just that, he Cannot and Will Not win diddly poo. The best hope is we are on an immediate search for a Coach who can Recruit, Coach, and Add excitement to our pathetic program that has reached McRock bottom. This NIL sham insults the intelligence of any half knowledgeable bball fan. Shame on us!

He is easily the biggest loss to me. I loved his potential and was shocked when lsu pulled him as a recruit.

Eaglestaff was signed, but Rakease Passmore from Kansas is in the portal. He just completed his freshman year but didn't get much action at Kansas. His is a very strong 6'5" SG top 50 out of hs.
We were in his top 4 with Arkansas, Oklahoma, and of course Kansas. His teammate Flory Bidunga would be nice too.

It sounds like Flory is between Auburn and IU. But I wouldn’t mind having Passmore on the bench. I really liked him coming out of high school too. I remember our staff felt really good after he visited then Self came in with the bag.

I think eaglestaff will be a good piece for them but I don’t know if I want to pay a mid major guy like that the rumored 1.2-1.5 million he got. He had some really good numbers against good comp but doing that a whole season in the sec is a totally different story. Who knows maybe i’m wrong and he’s the next dalton knecht 
either way it’s a gamble paying a mid major guy that type of money and obviously one our staff didn’t want to take.
