I think that he deleted it because he realized that there are still a couple of teams left that could possibly pay him over slot, and he didn't want to seem disrespectful.
I still expect him at LSU. His dad said this weekend that he was likely coming to LSU if he wasn't a first-round pick.

Slot money at this point is 800K.
He wants $2.5 million.
After three years playing football at LSU he's going to get at least double that in his first football contract, not to mention he could get a lot more than $2.5 million when he's drafted in the first round - AND play in the SEC for three years and you're a lot closer to the majors than you are riding that bus in the minors for three years.
There is no way it makes sense for him to sign. I expect he drops all the way down to the 20th or 25th round or later, because he's a unicorn for MLB at this point.

Went to the same high school, so I've been watching him since he was a sophomore. I remember reading about him in the paper when he signed with LSU at 14 and streaming the MUS game later that week. I didn't know his number and was trying to see if I could tell who he was, first play of the game someone picked off a pass and returned it for a td. Second play of the game the same kid picked off a pass and returned it to the 2 yard line. It was Hampton as a sophomore guarding a kid who ended up signing with Oklahoma the next year
