I’m just to let y’all know this hire is the reason Jacoby Matthews ended up being a tiger.
Jacoby matthews finished his commitment video to Arizona state the other day and fully prepared to commit in a week or so to Arizona State until Mason Smith came. They have a really tight relationship and it’s just crazy to think that Arizona State was about to come into the boot and steal a 5 star athlete from us.

If this was anyone else I wouldn’t believe it. But also I firmly believe he would have ended up a tiger by the end of the process regardless of an asu commitment at this point

Visit Arizona States campus and spend a weekend and you’ll understand why.. that place is like something out of a movie. Glad we locked up Jacoby.

I wouldn't necessarily doubt this. I figured Jacoby would have a video and was actually kind of surprised when there wasn't one. But really? Did not expect that one at all.

This is true. He's almost committed to 3 other schools, he's a kid.
He was never going anywhere else.

Talent is unreal on the ASU campus. No we ain’t talkin bout football either. Might be worth an official visit as a recruit though

Texas and Florida said he was a silent commit to them. Maybe he shot a commitment video, but there is literally 0% chance it would have stuck. The first time he watched a 9pm kickoff and realized that that conference is dead he would have been back in the sec.
When’s the last time LSU lost an instate recruit we wanted to anyone outside of bama? When’s the last time we lost a recruit to ANY school outside the sec? And Ettiene doesn’t count since he wasn’t even recruited until the end.

i know, i know. but if he was all ASU with no mason smith, while smith was at MSU, then LSU hires him and that was the catalyst?
