Yes this is a good pickup. He can move great at 6'9 and is very athletic. Can shoot and also play inside.

I mean, everyone is retooling with the portal now.
Are we going to be more like Indiana or more like Florida? We are going to find out but we are assembling an elite portal class at least.

he's pearchased my silence to see what he can do with this. I'm honestly in shock LSU was serious about backing up the brink trucks to help him after tMc14-40 conference start. this has been painful.

With the transfer portal, recruiting and buying players are by and large the same thing.
If he would've gotten the money and still not gotten the transfers, I'd agree with you.

I’m a bit new to the ins and outs of college bball. Is going for portal players better than recruiting out of high school? Genuinely asking. McMahon seems to go that route more often, whereas Wade did both, but seemed to lean more towards recruiting (could be misremembering). I’m not trying to compare the two; I’m just using some contrasting examples. It would seem to me that it would be more difficult to get a bunch of portal players to gel. Either way, I’m excited to see what he can do with these new players.
