I’ve been following recruiting since 99’ or so.

Maason Smith is the best DL I’ve seen come out of LA since then.

Will Campbell is the best tackle prospect I’ve seen come out since Whitworth

I know Louisiana isn’t always known for the big guys, but these two are a special breed. You just don’t see kids that big have the athletic traits that they have.

Maason Smith especially has such rare flexibility for his size. And plays like a bully. I love it

Campbell is going to fill out into the prototype LT. Good feet, great technique, and so strong already. Watched tape this morning of him pushing around Jacquelin Roy

Really exciting times in the trenches again for LSU. Had taken a few years off there lol

Do you think Smith is a better prospect than Marquise Hill was? Wasn't Hill the #1 DL prospect in the country?

I know that Hill and Spears were neck and neck, so I guess I'll rephrase my original question to the OP - do you think that Smith is a better prospect than Hill and Spears were?

How do you see Campbell developing compared to same year LA had Cam Rob and La’El?

might not be as raw of an athlete as Collins at this point, but he is better technically. When Campell cleans up the baby fat on his upper half he's going to be a monster.

Before those guys, I would say Eric Andolsek. A complete BEAST of an OL out of Thibodeaux High School. May he RIP.

There's a name I haven't heard in a while. What ever happened to him? Didn't he transfer to Nicholls or something like that?
