He wanted to go to Texas Tech originally. Sounds like it was a better fit. Superior talent competing against 2 stars so he will not have to work as hard. (Assuming it is true he was not working hard. Could very well not be true.)

He would catch 100 balls at TT in that conference!

You have literally the best RB tandem in the country and people still think they should throw the ball more.

I'm all for throwing it, but throwing it just to make people happy, that's ridiculous.

OK I will say congrats to this guy for choosing lsu for #1...just for tht he gets respect. Not trying to be critical or anything but he was trying to hard to be the next Odell...He should have came to program with the same mentality Malachi did...He saw Odell and Jarvis, but he decided he wanted to be the best Malachi get could be...I bet Tyron marked Odell progress to his own an realized he wasn't where Odell was at this point and time so he decided to make a move...If anyone paid attention when Obj an Jl came to the nfl there was little to no learning curve when the came to the nfl why?We do nfl things at lsu. When was the last time texas tech or oregon or a pass first school had a wr that was a dog in the nfl...js.

His dad came out and said he wanted to be in a more wide open offense. This is not good if we have been telling wr recruits the offense is changing and it's really not

Yeah I don't believe that. It's a nice cop out that definitely makes sense given the type of offense he played in high school and the type of school he initially liked out of high school, but any LSU fan who paid close attention realized he was getting passed up.

You never hear or read about him in any reports, and he didn't even do anything in the spring game. I've said for the longest that he's likely 4th or 5th in the rotation and I guess the new guys scared him off.

With that said, I do hope the Louisiana boys go off wherever they go, except against us or when they go to Alabama.

He should go to SMU with Trey Quinn. Those two would put a hurt on people in a Chad Morris offense. I wish Tyron the best.

Does this mean 2017 class of 28 now?

Very unlikely. Generally speaking, at most this would mean one fewer player being "processed" if it needed.

Most likely he looked at other LSU WRs in practice and the incoming WRs and thought no way he could beat those guys.

It won't matter. 1 of the 3 passes a game wasn't going to go to him anyway.

Texas Tech - Michael Crabtree, Wes Welker
Oklahoma St - Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon would have been a beast had he stopped doing dumbass shite.

It's also not like they get the best of talent anyway so guys even getting drafted from these schools is a rarity. Oklahoma St has had 1 guy drafted each the last 3 years and only 7 in the past 5 years. Texas Tech has had only 3 players drafted in the last 5 years.

"Jerqwinick Sandolph"

His mom had a sick sense of humor. Right up there with Orangelo and Lemongelo.

It trips me out how loaded we are at receiver position. Especially, When you consider that only 2-3 see the field on a consistent basis. With the talent we have, we should see a couple of 5 wide sets every game.
