Hopefully she’s not soft as Charmin like Koval .

She’s from the country, so hopefully she has the country girl mentality/physical strength.

My brother refereed one of her games recently and said she was unstoppable, it’s hard to judge someone at that height in high school , especially girls basketball cause they are usually so much taller than anyone else

From Oak Grove? That's the home of the 5'6 welder who who will fight anybody, anytime, over nothin'. They don"t do soft in West Carroll Parish.

My wife went to high school with her mom. Devout Christian family with amazing work ethic and character. All very successful. Whoever she signs with will be getting a gem in more ways than just what she brings to the court.

I hope they win the state title this season. The refs absolutely cheated them last season in the finals.

It’s impressive that she has added the 3 point shot to her game. Kind of surprising she only got 5 free throws though. On the question of toughness I can assure you that will never be an issue with West Carroll people. They don’t do soft.

That’s really not the point even though yes, we need a big who can move. Grace Knox can but she’s undersized.
Nothing wrong with a big 6-5 post who can brawl down low and hold position. Bradley should provide that.
What we’re missing is a successor power forward and scoring-rebounding machine to Reese-Morrow. That should have been Serah Williams. It should have been the natural thing to convince her to come to LSU and be the next superstar forward and follow Reese-Morrow with tons of endorsements and then to the WNBA. But this was another Redus recruiting frick up and we lost her to UConn.
I called missing Williams a disaster and it was laughed off by the usual WBB “experts” around here who assured me that Koval and Joyner were Wilt Chamberlain and Karl Malone. In reality they were leftovers we had to settle for because we missed our big target. And of course the “experts” thought I was saying we’d go 0-30 without Williams when what I was saying, the “disaster” was without her, we’re likely an Elite Eight team. With her, we’re likely National Champions, a realistic goal for any Mulkey-coached team.
Now in fairness, Joyner played pretty well against Kentucky but she’s a rotational piece at best. This team’s proper identity is centered around a scoring and rebounding machine like it was with Angel Reese and Aneesah Morrow. That should have been Serah Williams.

There is so much bullshite in this post, it's hard to decide where to start a response.

You again, shithead? Yeah right. Your post screams “I don’t have any answer to facts so I’ll just call it ‘bullshite.’”

You think you posted "facts"?
You posted your ill-informed opinions, not facts. You seem too dumb to know the difference.

I agree. To call Redus a recruiting "frick up" is just dumb.
He just brought in the #1 recruiting class in the nation, and got Koval who was a five star McDonald's all american that EVERYONE was trying to get. Just give her some time. She's not an immediate dominant post. She's going to need some time. She IS only a sophomore. As for getting Williams........................you can't MAKE kids come to your program. She is FROM the northeast and valued UConn's ability to develop players for the WNBA, not to mention they had just won the NCAA championship. Not everyone wants to come to LSU and not everyone likes Kim Mulkey. We've done a tremendous job recruiting, and there are a ton of programs who wished they had a recruiter like Redus.
We lost a game last night on a buzzer beater. Let's not overreact.

Also her coach at Wisconsin was a former UCONN assistant so they had another in with her. Also also Williams hasn't really stood out at UCONN so she probably wasn't going to be the missing piece anywhere.

Exactly! I was one of those who was REALLY excited at the prospect of getting Williams. I thought she could be the missing piece to a final four run. But thus far at UConn, she's not done much. Also, I think Joyner has done very well for us. She had 14 pts and 5 rebs in her FIRST SEC game. Koval was a big disappointment in HER first game. So, now we're gonna see what kind of fire she has on Sunday. Will she respond with more heart and effort, or will she wilt under pressure like Del Rosario did last season?
