Georgia native Bradyn Swinson
24 tackles and 3 sacks last year
5 tackles this year
Would be a solid depth addition.

I wonder if this isn't a signal Desmond Little is on his way out.

I like Little. It kinda feels like he's a guy who might break out eventually. But I don't know if he's ever going to get the opportunity, because they're going to take somebody good in the portal and Jaxon Howard is a kid who might very well be an immediate impact guy.

I'm assuming Daeshon Womack is more a defensive end than a Jack LB. Maybe that's wrong. If it is then Womack is another guy who might displace Little.

Hopefully Little at least sticks around through spring and gives himself a chance.

1000 guys in the portal. This guy has 35 tackles in 3 years. 5 this past year. I don't get it.

I have to admit that when I scanned the topics, I thought I read “Ed Ogeron” in your subject.

His stats don't jump out at you. I'm just guessing that the coaches think his pass rush will fit in very well with our scheme.

Basically, the coaches noticed something on film.

I think Howard and Womack are both DE’s and not Jack LBers. Little and possibly Z Carter are the guys on the current roster that have the physical traits to play Jack, but I am not sure either guy is capable to be a starter.

Shea seems to think Womack is Ojulari replacement at the Jack

Womack is most definitely going to replace a Ojulari as the Jack - there’s a reason he’s a 5* prospect; the kid is a stud in HS, and it won’t take long before he’ll be a stud at LSU.

Another good thing about Dashawn Womack - he’s an early enrollee. Based on all that, I would bet the ranch he becomes an early contributor in 2023.

Maybe he doesn’t start against FSU, but I’d put my money on him being part of the rotation & playing a good bit of meaningful snaps!

There's a reason Little or Carter didn't play at all this season and BJ had to play like 99% of snaps.

They just aren't sec caliber

I was wondering if Little got hurt or something. I noticed him playing earlier in the year and then he just disappeared.

It appears as though he was recruited out of high school by Jamar Cain as well. There’s already a relationship there.

I wonder how many of those 1000 coming into the portal will be truck drivers next season? I know some or even maybe a lot of them are processed but this is getting crazier by the year.

Better players will be available.

To me it shows how bad the depth is.

We really need some depth on the D line. Thank God Roy, Wingo, BJ & Gaye stayed healthy We have a few freshmen coming in but obviously they haven't played against the Will Campbell's yet.
