It would take transfers like this to make enough of a difference for the team to compete for the playoff next year, but sadly, there is no way we can afford the bounty for that many players

apparently no one wants to play in House's defense plain and simple. Time to pull the plug

HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2021 PrepStar Dream Team despite missing most of his senior season as a cornerback at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana (Calif.) due to a knee injury suffered in the season opener (he had 3 tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in that game). Mater Dei went 12-0 and won the 2021 national, state Open Division and CIF Southern Section Division I titles.

Wonder if this is one of those cases where a player never made it back to his pre-injury speed/explosiveness. Also kind of wild that they kept him as a 5* recruit despite him missing his entire senior year with an injury.

There are articles from this past spring saying how he's finally moved past his knee injury from 2021. Curious what his 40m/100m splits are now.

I’m not against NIL, but unrestricted free agency with no salary cap is going to doom NCAA football, or maybe it already has. And, it makes me really sad.

Well, I can only speak for me. Once a fully committed diehard with more season tickets than family members times two. Traveled to 2 away games per year, taped every game and broke it down afterward.

It was Forever LSU and missed many a wedding I should have attended. Now, my oldest is getting married on the Ole Miss game. I'm still more than a casual fan, but far from the guy that woke up with a hole in my gut the next day after a loss.

I'm just not interested in the NFL minor leagues. I don't invest in things that are not invested in by those participating. One and done doesn't do it for me.

There's still baseball, and for the most part, those kids end up being worth the investment.

It’s not dooming a damn thing, just separating the haves and have nots.

TV contracts, 12 team playoff, and new SEC members will guarantee record payouts for next decade. The game is not at risk, alarmist!

Did you see USC’s defense this year? They didn’t stop anyone either. Probably one of the few defenses worst than LSU’s. Sure you want him that bad?

Kelly has turned us into Notre Dame. Is this kid planning to graduate or more focused on NFL? If it’s the latter, he ain’t for us.
