LSU needs disrupters (DT's) up the middle to win national titles.

Sopsher, come on down to Tiger Stadium, allow all of your fans to see you defeat Alabama first hand.

I agree 100%. It's not about the edge rushers. You can have average edge guys. But if you want to truly dominate, it's about having a dominant presence in the middle of the D-Line.

Yes, we do need DT's. However, to win a title we have to go thru Bama and the only way we do that is 5 star talent across the oline. Saban recruiting so many dlinemen this year shows its even more imperative our oline become the strength of the team.

Bama has insane depth that LSU will never match until Saban leaves. It’s stupid deep

If you tell Sopsher you are putting him in the middle he isn’t coming. He wants to play DE not Nose.

Agreed. 2020 looks like the year that we could actually match Bama in terms of DT haul. We lead for some studs.

We're 3 deep at NT with Ika, Shelvin and Livingston. I think he would have an opportunity to be a 3-4 DE. If we sign Guillory in 2020 that's another NT so we should be fine there for the next 3-4 years.

Yep we know and Orgeron knows. It is a dominant offensive line and defensive line to beat Bama.

Lawrence and Fehoko are returning. Fehoko should dominate at his original position.

Yeah, I've been looking forward to Fehoko returning to 3-4 DE.

Then why is it that from 09-12 we did just that?

Not really, OM/Freeze did it with less talented lines 2 times.

This coaching staff and S&C staff needs to focus and provide some serious help for our OL and DL in the offseason. Provide help like the pros do. Keep people with them for motivation. Keep pictures of a championship trophy, their favorite NFL team, their loved ones or whatever motivates them in front of them at every turn.

Make sure they do the extra things and eat the right things while allowing them to eat something good once a week if they perform well that week. They will have to do these things at the next level so just let them know that you're preparing them for the NFL.

A year ago Sopsher was supposed to be a lock. Gotta close on these guys sooner or later.

I don't recall Sopsher ever being considered a lock, but you're right about needing you close on this big guys.

Sopsher isn't over yet either.
