Yikes.
Blaine Bradford Commits to OSU
Major position of need. Got the number 2 kid in state and he goes to OSU

Crap like this is just infuriating. How does LSU let the top safety in their backyard go to freaking Ohio State?
But it’s still very early and with NIL it’s still LSUs ball game

Because they’ve produced much better safeties lately, always contend for national titles and give out massive NIL bag. That literally hits everything the kid is looking for

Or go to an also top prestige football program and start year 1. I guess playing time isn’t a big concern for him

This is pretty inexcusable, and would be a fumble of epic proportions if it sticks.
Guy is the top safety in the country, literally 5 minutes from LSU campus playing at a school in catholic high that has been historically good to LSU. His brother is already on campus. And he is one of the few guys who could see significant playing time as a true freshman. Have to do whatever you can to get him to LSU, otherwise……that’s not a good look.
Landon Collins 2.0, except it’s to a school across the country…..

I can’t believe you guys are getting worked up over this.
LSU will meet whatever number OSU gives him.
If the kid ultimately decides he just wants to get away there’s not a whole lot LSU can do. It doesn’t help when 90% of our fanbase is on here talking about what a shithole BR and LA are.

Signing day is 9mo away? I don't understand the outrage over this. A commitment doesn't mean jack these days. It's called negotiations.

I mean, we went 8-4 and played in the Texas Bowl while Ohio State won the natty.

Just another case why recruiting someone's brother back fires.

They also play a schedule where they are basically guaranteed to go at least 10-2 every year. They will take a step back this season and some of that luster will wear off.

Nope. Bralan Womack who Ohio State also leads for but this is a fantastic get if it sticks.

They'll still easily make the playoff. A kid going to ohio state these days is pretty much guaranteed to have a great shot at a natty in a 3-4 year career. LSU has to fight super hard to just make the playoff.

That’s life in the SEC for everyone. Who outside of Oregon and Michigan even look like they belong on the field with Ohio State? Their path is much easier, but they aren’t a dynasty. This was only their 2nd title since 2002.

It’s not over till signing day. Lets reconvene next December on the freakout.

It’s time for y’all to accept that tier one schools run this sport
If a tier one school wants an elite recruit in Baton Rouge, there’s nothing LSU can do about it

The rumors are true.. you really are a douche

It's about money. Not about where someone lives.

Dakorien Moore and Bryce Underwood. Do I need to say anymore? Anyone getting their panties in a wad over a commitment for ‘26 is clearly new to this world of college football. Not saying he’s going to decommit and be a Tiger but let’s so how it plays out.
