In what world is this not a really good class?

I’m just stating facts as well. Is it not a fact that the class isn't complete and therefore your little “average ranking” would mean absolutely nothing when it is?

Sounds factual to me. The only reason people say butt hurt on here is because they were indeed hurt by the response. Butt hurt is such a childish collaboration or words. I thought you were better than that, although not much. But in fact I wasn’t surprised to find out that I gave you too much credit Amazing because I’m usually not very generous. Carry on

It’s true. Most of the posters who come out of the woodwork on signing day are idiots. They are complaining about a top 5 class. Ridiculous.

The 2018 class was basically a waste outside of Chase and Marshall, and the team is in the playoffs. I’m not panicking over this class.

at no point did I say it wasnt good. its top 5. my point was we cant have another class that ranks 4th and 6th in the sec and compete consistently for titles.

You said we need this class to be really good. It is really good. It’s 5th in the nation.

Barton Simmons himself has said there’s zero difference between the 1st and 5th class

We could finish 5th best in the country and still finish 4th best in the sec
The difference between the #1 class and #5 class is minuscule
If you hit on QB/Ol and pass rushers and limit attrition you will be in the hunt
Clemson won 2 titles and played for another with an avg class rating lower than 5

It's easy to tell who knows what they're talking about and who has no clue about recruiting. First, LSU's class is absolutely loaded and going to get better.

Absolutely agree.

If you finish in the top 10 in recruiting, you had an incredible year! If you finish 10 to 20, you still had an outstanding signing day. Those 21-35 still very good. [

Couldn’t disagree more. Change top 10 to top 5, change 10-20 to 5-10, change 21-35 down to 11-20.

Don’t celebrate mediocrity

would they have had the same success if they played in such a talent rich conference as the sec? clemson can average a top 5 class and still be the most talented program in their conference

its amazing watching you get butt hurt over objective facts.

You mean the objective fact of class rankings based on subjective evaluations?

Burns for better or worse was expendable. Too much talent ahead of him and others coming in who would surpass him. The more I reflect on it the more I think Rak and Burton's situations were unavoidable. They choose to play close to family (can't fault them) and one went along with the games that the other coaching staff told them to play. Burton I think was legitimately torn but should have manned up and told LSU about the visits to UGA. Once his Mom made the decision to move back to Georgia LSU was way behind the 8 ball there.

But we all know it’s subjective. Conversely, you think that sorting and ranking subjective data somehow makes it objective.
