Per Shea: a flip is apparently “not out of the question”.

Personally I would stay far away from this. Seems like a Saban trap.

VIP article on 247, so can’t see the details.

Difference is I think Peter Parrish is aware LSU would like to take 2 QB’s and isn’t scared to compete. Also the Tagavailoa family aren’t one’s to play games I don’t think.

Saban sets these traps all the time. Get LSU to devote resources to a player they're on then pull the rug from out under us.

He may not want to be in his brothers shadow. Just like the Ridley kid that went to Georgia.

If I’m a top rated kid, the oppurtunity to be part of the team that takes down Bama...wow, that’s priceless just saying.

Normally I'd agree, but following the expectation his brother set there will be absolutely astronomical and I can see where paving his own way somewhere else would be pretty enticing.

We already have Peter Parrish who we are very high on. We don't have to have a second qb, so we can go all out on a guy like Taulia.

What if it's actually CEO is making Saban put unnecessary bama resources on Taulia?

Can you guarantee we won't lose Parrish by flirting with Taulia? In recruiting, I'm not usually a bird in the hand believer, but in this particular instance, I definitely am.

We aren't losing Parrish, and we aren't willing to lose him in order to gain Taulia, but that doesn't mean you don't entertain the idea of both.

Sure. As long as the first part is, and remains, true.

Parrish is probably the most committed guy we have behind Kardell so I seriously doubt he moves on.

I wouldn't even be surprised if Saban tells these recruits do this. Get them to go on a visit to LSU and try to flip recruits like Stingley and Kardell to Bama. Also just to waste time and resources on a recruit that has no chance of coming to LSU

His mom and dad moved all the way from Hawaii to Alabama to be close to the kids at the University of Alabama. Plus must be a front runner looking for the easy way to national championship and Heisman trophy or they wouldn't be at Bama. He is not coming to LSU

Why is it that our staff, recruiting mods, and fans alike are the only ones that fall for these Saban "traps" every year?
