LSU sent Sloan to Many today to recruit Tackett. Glad to see it.
USC and Ohio State were both back today for second time as well.

This is what I don't get and not disputing your info, but to me, a recruit who was neglected by a previous staff would at least be open to forming a relationship with a completely new staff. I hope that is the case.

I feel like I’ve seen this exact phrase on the RB numerous times over the years and they weren’t always right so forgive me if I don’t give up hope based on your post. Anything can happen with a new staff and a year to change his mind.

The Many folks in here been screaming to anyone who listens that the kid is not going to LSU. Allegedly the family is season ticket holders and LSU fans but hated Orgeron for not pursuing him. They also hated the way he ran the locker room and ran team into ground. So you Orgeron lovers here are the reason Many people hate LSU now. Hope you can deal with that loss.

I know Tackett isn't excited about LSU but that can change. He just wants to know he is really wanted wherever he goes. I believe the current staff will convey that message to him.

It's interesting that they sent Sloan, a QB coach to talk to a LB recruit. Maybe Sloan has contacts in Many thru his La. Tech days.
I understand Tackett's family included big LSU fans and Orgeron neglected giving them attention they felt he deserved. Not hard to believe, given that Ed's attentions were elsewhere for the past two years.
On the other hand, if they are true LSU fans and will not talk to the new staff b/c of O's issues, that is really not a good look. It makes it appear like they feel "entitled" in a non-flattering kind of way.

I hope that this is not the case, and what we have is a bunch of fans looking got drum up drama. If the kid is in fact that needy, let him go, don’t even put the effort into it. If he requires that much attention and reassurance he will be a problem for you in the locker room. Like I said, I hope how you guys are playing this is make believe.

He has no idea. No way LSU spends as much time visiting Him if there is no chance. And, for what its worth my family is from Many and knows his family. He has a favorite but constant attention can move him toward the good guys!

Right now you might be accurate and Hell, he might not even come to LSU. Saying as a fact he is not coming is just a little extra for me. He can change his mind just like so many before have. How many times have we seen this where a local guys says NO change he is coming to LSU? It happens, but no way you can know for certain the kid won't change is mind.
