Not worried with this staff. He leaves and he will be replaced by similar if not better player.

Get what you're saying and it could turn out that way in 4-5 years but if everyone just argues their guys are 5* regardless of rankings then what purpose do the rankings serve? So are rankings a grift or legit in your opinion? No condemnation, legit opinion being sought. I've moved more towards grift the past few years. Still some good guys in the business but few and far between.

I wouldn't worry. If I was a recruit I would want to go to that game.

Probably my favorite player in this class so far but if he wants to stay closer to home it's understandable. Respect to young Joshua either way

no one knows what is going on with the 3 5* DEs OSU is after.

Keeley was thought to be all Bama but with the rumors of their class falling apart a bit who knows. Wilson is down to UGA and OSU and OSU insiders are indicating UGA offered 7 figures per year up front. DJ's bro out of cali is gonna be a tough pull no matter what.

Mickens just got offered this week and insiders think there is serious interest on both sides. Not sure if that means anything changed with the other DEs or if they just like Mickens that much

Who said Bama's class is starting to fall apart?

Lots of rumors that Downs is going to head out, and Haynes is going to bolt. So that's 2 of their top 5 or so guys.

There have been a number of posts about Saban retiring or getting closer to it.

Again we all have heard the demise talk before, but this one may actually be real

Now that would be good news.

Until it's ACTUALLY real, I don't buy it.

If anything I feel like Saban views that talk as "rat poison" and all the more motivation to prove people wrong (because, you know, he definitely needs that...).

Now that said, would I complain with it all being true? Absolutely not.

That’s telling, considering they’re basically setting their sights on Mickens, this late, perhaps they know they’ll lose out on their intended guys, maybe DJ’s brother is going to USC or UO, though not taking up a school that has history developing D-Line talent like Ohio State is puzzling some.

None of the 3 targets are from the midwest so it is always a battle to take players out of California and Florida, especially with the major powers in those schools having new hires and paying $$ upfront.

OSU so far isn't in the game of paying upfront for recruits.

This is a lie. OSU has been paying recruits up front for decades now, they are no different than any of the other big time programs when it comes to that, let’s not act like naive little kids here.

You can believe that if you want but Ohio St has lost several players due to not paying up front.

Ohio State doesn't have to pay players. They should pay Ohio State for the honor the play there.
