And hes going to beat out Franks in his junior year?

Have you seen Franks play? Franks is fricking terrible and is not a good fit for Mullen's offense.

While Bryant is pretty damn average and not a great passer, he's still better at running and throwing it than Franks.

Franks is one of the worst QBs in the league.

I'm hoping the tweet is correct. There is no reason to not explore bringing him in.

O needs to have a contingency for the possibility of losing Burrow. The plan has been for Brennan to redshirt this year, backup Burrow next year and be the man in 2020-21. If Burrow does leave after this season, then Bryant can be that stop gap.

There is no doubt Burrow is having a great year to this point. The next few weeks will show if he is even NFL "ready". Nothing wrong with having a backup plan obviously.

Why

Well after Burreaux wins a Natty and Heisman this year, he may think about jumping to the NFL.

Yes, me as well. I believe Myles is a very good passer and probably a better pure passer than Burrow. But with the offense LSU is running Myles is too light and not athletic enough. That being said, when he develops into the type passer Hodson was, or a Brees or the college level of a Brees, he won't need to run the ball. That being said, having Bryant would give the OC some options akin to what Sabama had to do in the NC game a season ago.

So we're after every qb in the country who wasn't good enough to start for their team? Is that what we have become? No way to treat Brennan...

This is a ton of bullshite. Franks has improved a lot since last year. All you scorned/sour grapes people just need to let it go.

Bryant had 13 TD passes all of last year. Franks had 12 in his first four games this year, throwing at least two per game.

Franks has had the best game vs Kentucky as a passer, and as a player as a whole than anybody else they've played. He passed for 232 and a TD and ran for 44 yards averaging 4 a carry.

Yeah Bryant does run better, but Franks gives you enough mobility in game. He's going to be one of the best QBs in the SEC next year.

Did you not READ what I wrote!?!? You obviously cannot comprehend very well. I never said Brennan is as good as Brees was in college, I said WHEN he develops into. If you insist on calling someone stupid, at least comprehend the context better. Dumbass!!!!!

Damn, 3 pages and not one concern the guy quit in his team less than a day after he got demoted.

And he would have been right back on the field in his next game when Lawrence got hurt.
