If we don't get both Dean and Jones it won't be from lack of effort. And a bonus, Ika and Pickens are both are both on the hook... Just have to finish with them in the boat. This class has the potential to end with a surge.

I don’t ever conceded anything until there’s absolutely nothing left to look at.
My comment was for the recruiting expert residents here that claim LSU gets outworked. So, this thread is titled “LSU has recruited Dean and Jones the hardest.” I’m just getting ahead of the wagon.
With that said, it seems as though that “Alabama insiders”, year in and year out, always have a better reading on recruits that LSU is recruiting than our own “insiders.” There are one or two of these guys that always seem right on kids with ties to Louisiana or LSU that already have said that this visit to LSU is too late for Dean and Alabama has him wrapped up. With their history vs. what we hear, I’ve learned not to think they’re just guessing.

I'm not so sure they do know more than other guys. I just think they get the added benefit of covering Bama, and 90+% of the time Saban really wants a guy, he gets them. Makes their job kind of easy to predict.

Yes. It isn't a given at this point by any means, but that finish has a very realistic possibility

Well, UGA and BAMA mods don’t even mention Dean and LSU. Seems to be a UGA/BAMA race.

Really? Then why do you think Bama hasn’t really went after linebackers this year. As a matter of fact a close personal friend of mine is a huge Bama booster who pretty much nails it every year in recruiting says Saban offered him but is desperately trying to close out the class with Lineman and receivers.
