If tweet fails to load, click here. Project or anyone, how's the competition in the Florida Collegiate Summer League? I assume no where near CCBL but nice to see he hammered the ball there in a nice sample size last summer.
Correction - FCSL was 2 years ago. Just looking for some validation of the gaudy numbers from this past season.

It's almost exclusively JUCO and D2 guys. There are probably some good players there just because it's mostly guys from Florida playing in the league, but it's not one of the better leagues.

Only if he were willing to play there.
I think if he had been told 2nd base was his, he would have listened, but he just wasn't going to stick around to compete for the job. Not when he had a power conference offering what they paid to get him.
Jay was never going to match that amount given what we knew at that time in his limited experience.
In retrospect, could have been worth it, and I'm certain some of his comments later in the season referenced this.
You can't know what you don't know.

Then his comments make him sound like even more of a bitch.
Just admit you took the money and ran.

19.2% K rate, .241 ISO
Played a lot of 3rd in summer league. Can also play 1st and 2nd.
ETA: Also of note is that both Simpson and Jordan are on the Rodriguez kid from Bethune Cookman.
As far as RFs who went off against us, I'd still prefer Solitaria or Wachs, but neither are in the portal right now.

22 k% at UNCC vs just 5% BB
The K rate isn’t as alarming as the ratio

Very true. But can’t fault a kid for wanting to play a certain position. Sucks it didn’t work out.

It's weird how you shite on every player actually on the LSU roster but defend the guy who left and shite on the program on his way out.

He is apparently soft and knew he wasn’t going to beat out Milam.

The Freshman Catcher from Evansville just hit the portal. I don't think we will look at him or anything, but I thought it was notable that he had 25 HBPs this season. 60 total free passes. But 25 HBPs is Dugasian.

WJP, when you post the class (ex Fr, So, Jr....) is it for next year or this current (past) year.

I’ll criticize any player who performs poorly. This is LSU, expectations come with the jersey, especially now that players are paid. There are no performance passes.
I don’t care about Ryan’s loyalty, frick his loyalty, but I’ll defend any kid who leaves to play immediately. That’s opportunity, not betrayal.
Getting mad at a transfer for chasing playing time while clutching pearls over fans criticizing poor performance is hypocritical.
.You can have the last word,I’m done engaging this topic. Focus on the player info and your evals; that’s your lane and you do it well. Just don’t lecture fans for criticizing performance. The game has changed.

Looks like I struck a nerve by accurately calling you out.

Getting mad at a transfer for chasing playing time
People got mad at a transfer who is acting like a smug a-hole for no reason other than the fact that he didn't get to play SS over a player that LSU fans wouldn't trade for anyone in the country.
