I know Marshall louque personally and was really hoping he’d find his way to campus. But I don’t see how. I would think lsu is going to tell him go ahead and get some pitching in post TJ at LSUE and see if he is going to be a pitcher or hitter. Kid will end up somewhere post LSUE

He’s performed poorly in pro-style settings with the wooden bat. Apparently in 52 games across 2 summers at the Cape, he slugged only .316 with just 2 HR.

Worley was on our board, but I think he signs with the Dbacks. Another LHP may not be in the cards for us anymore. We lose Santi but get Nawrocki, Cupit, Beaty in and return Cooper Williams and Plog. Stewart would be an interesting sign, though. Alot of upside like Cam Johnson but not much else to be excited about. Worley is not a comp.

If we're losing Garcia, I think we'll need at least one veteran LHP from the portal. The guy from UGA hitting triple digits would be nice.

Nah. The LHPs coming in are strike throwers with projection for swing and miss. The LHPs left on the roster are swing and miss but will have to pitch more efficiently. I wouldn't necessarily pass on Stewart but the roster numbers get weird.

Nice job Wild. Numbers look better than I thought. One of the local guys had LSU with 44.
Jay may be able to find a way for pretty much all of them depending on how many are DSA's.
Love having 7 LHP on the roster. Hell of a weekend for the program.

Plus, Lachenmayer gives us 6 LHP's. I think Jay is high on these freshman especially Nawrocki.

Still not on Stewart at the moment according to twitter follows.
