It was top 100 juniors. There's no way Jared Jones isn't a top 100 junior. Hell, I would think Guidry and Stanfield would be close. I can get over Pearson (also Beck). Hogg has to be close for freshmen. But there's just no way on Jones. I almost feel like they accidentally left him off somehow.

He was ranked 8-10 in his class as true sophomore according to MLB.com and was the second highest true sophomore to return to college.
His floor is probably 3-5 rounder (first baseman aren't always coveted in the draft), but yes definitely one of the top 100 juniors in the country.

Yeah, if you're a top 5 round pick, you're a top 100 junior for sure.

Perfect Game didn't name Bear in their top 100 Juniors... but D1 baseball has him as the #39 college draft prospect for this year.
I feel like the dumbass at PG that put together the list of juniors thought Bear was a senior. It's laughable that he was left off that list.

I got to meet up with Dickinson and Shores today. Dickinson is locked down at 2B. Milam and Braswell are alternating between short and 3B. Monster likely will start the season at SS.
Shores said he feels great and is ready to start pitching. They are throwing live ball on Friday. Dickinson hasn't faced Shores yet in live BP, but that will happen on Friday. You could tell he was looking forward to the challenge. Shores is shooting to start on Fridays but the decision has not been made yet.
Both are outstanding young men and think we can win a natty this year.

Looks like Connor Simon is no longer on the roster.
We're now at 40/40, but really 39/40 plus a redshirting Sheerin.
The JUCO ruling could allow for a late transfer in from a player with previous JUCO eligibility. Other SEC programs are looking to add a specific guy and I think we may have thrown our hat in the ring. It would take a new decision from the NCAA to make it happen.
