Anyone in the know have any insight on Daniel Harden? He is obviously slated to come in from JUCO and is being touted as a potential corner outfield spot guy, but can someone explain why he is being this highly regarded? I'm looking at a guy statistically hitting .274 at the JUCO level. Tanner Reaves was raking at that level and saw a notable drop, as would be expected, in SEC play. Is there something more than meets the eye with Harden to think he would be able to make that transition?

As a freshman.
He hit .354 as a sophomore with 12 homers and way more walks than strikeouts.

The .274 was his freshman year. This year he hit over .350 with 12 homers. Also a really good athlete. 34K/50BB

As of now the roster is 3 shy of the 34 limit. At 37/34.

To add to what P said he was also a multi sport athlete in high school so there is reason to believe he is still getting better, as his jump in numbers would suggest.
